Raiders hire Antonio Pierce as full-time head coach, fire Offensive Coordinator

The Las Vegas Raiders have agreed to terms with Antonio Pierce to make him their next head coach, NFL Network Insiders Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport reported Friday, per sources. The team announced later on Friday it had hired Pierce.

Among the priorities facing new Raiders coach Antonio Pierce is deciding on a new offensive coordinator.

On Monday, a person with knowledge of the situation confirmed that Bo Hardegree, the Raiders’ interim offensive coordinator for the final nine games will not return to the position next season.
